Articulation Agreement

Articulation is the process of evaluating courses to determine whether coursework completed at a high school will meet the requirements at a college level for the purpose of advanced placement or credit-by-exam units.

How do articulation agreements help transfer students?

Generally, articulation agreements document a pathway between two or more colleges or universities and their academic programs. Articulation agreements are also called transfer agreements, transfer guides, and transfer pathways by various audiences.

When to apply?

Articulation Agreements within our programs allow students to apply for college credit while attending Cascadia Tech. It is important to note that students MUST apply for these credits while enrolled in Cascadia Tech. If students fail to fill out the proper paperwork they will not receive transfer credits to use post high school with college programs we articulate with. In the Spring, instructors will go over this process with the students on how to claim the credits earned during class. If students need more help they can reach out to their instructor.
