Teaching Academy students toured North Fork Elementary Schools. They had a chance to do learning walks in the classrooms. Students were able to connect their learning from the classroom to live K-4 grade levels.
Maritime Technology students are working on the anatomy of vessels by building a vessel of their own as well as doing presentations on the different types. We are also working on mapping skills which includes how to find the distance between two ports only using longitude and latitude. Lastly, we are working on basic math skills and tying different types of knots and their use.
